RECESSED TRACK
Vanda FLUSHFIT – conceived with architect and interior designers in mind.
The one piece track sits discreetly inside the ceiling lining and does not require bracketing. The track is 13mm deep so requires a ceiling lining 13mm thick (Gyprock), alternatively the timber joists will need to be routed to accommodate the depth.
Builders need to allow for a parallel gap of 18mm in the ceiling lining to accommodate the track width. The track has a 5mm flange either side of the glide channel for the cut edge of the ceiling lining to sit on, making for a superior finish. Vanda Flushfit comes in Classic White finish in 6 metre lengths and can be butt joined for longer installations.
Elbows of 90 & 135 degrees are available for corner and bay window installations. Vanda Flushfit is suitable for all heading types including Wavefold but is not recommended for S Fold (Snap Tape) headings as the carriers are square and larger than Wavefold.

Bends
FLUSHFIT 150mm radius 90° bend
The 150mm radius bend offers a tight bend option. Homes that have high stud heights (2.7 meters plus) and 90-degree bends. It is advisable to use the 250mm bend radius. This helps with the flow of the curtain around the corner.
FLUSHFIT 250mm radius 90° bend
The 250mm radius bend is a more gradual bend. This should aid the flow of longer curtains around the corner.
It is advisable to discuss with your customer how to operate the curtain at the initial consultation and again once the curtain is hung. For long tracks over 4m it will be required to move the leading edge of the drape to the corner and then pull another portion of curtain from the same starting point towards the corner, move back to the leading edge of the drape and bring it around the bend. From there you should be able to walk the leading edge along pulling the entire curtain to the close position. To open the drape the same action is required, move the bulk of the curtain towards the corner, then walk the remaining curtain around the bend until the leading edge has come around the corner. You can then move the leading edge back to the open stack position. The physical action of pulling the drape can be medium/heavy weight depending on the weight of the drape.
Both 90° radius bends
Ideally one of each radius is used on double tracks with bends. This allows the 150mm and 250mm radius bends used on either track optimally to run parallel with consistent spacing around the bend. (We will supply one of each radius with double tracks requiring a 90-degree bend. The tighter radius 150mm bend is positioned furthest from the wall.)

The cover is designed to cover the 11mm gap at the end of the track, this will enable the retrofitting of the gliders. (We will generally supply one cap per track unless requested otherwise)
