Vanda Victoria supplies premier customised decorative curtain rods and accessories to the soft furnishings market throughout Victoria and Tasmania. Vanda rods are made in tough stylish marine grade aluminium, with cast or forged metal accessories designed in New Zealand, and derived from inspirations around the world. Each order is customised in length, colour, bracketing and finials, so each installation is exclusive – set your windows above the rest. The Vanda range is innovative and will enhance any home.
More recently Vanda has expanded its’ range with inventive recessed products. Initially our FLUSH FIT recessed curtain track and most recently the recess FLUSHBOX; allowing new home builders to incorporate a turnkey solution to conceal a roller blind above the line of the ceiling. The Vanda brand is discreetly found decorating a large share of Australia’s high-end homes and prominent commercial stores and buildings.

OVER 125 YEARS OF CRAFTING EXPERIENCE
The Vanda design engineering heritage dates back to 1884 when D.McL. Wallace set up his blacksmithing business in Waikato.

David Wallace registered Vanda Holdings Limited – a company designing and manufacturing stainless steel, brass & wrought-iron furniture.

A PRODUCT TO BE CREATED
Interior Designers were particularly interested in the hand-made original designs, and soon a request was made for a product to be created to fill a gap in the New Zealand market – a quality-custom made curtain rod system.
Niche
WINDOW FURNISHING SUPPLIER
The request was met, and soon it was obvious that a full-time focus to manufacturing the curtain hardware range was necessary to keep up with demand. And so Vanda became a wholesale supplier of curtain hardware products to the interior design and retail market. Today, Vanda is a wholesale supplier, manufacturer, and exporter of a large range of window furnishing products.

Creative design, originality and functionality have always been at the core of what we do at Vanda. We acknowledge historical classic design and give nods to some of those elements, but generally all Vanda products start with a blank sheet of paper on which original ideas are formed.
Expansion
VANDA VICTORIA
Shortly after, the Vanda range moved to Australia, with a dedicated Victorian operation established in Melbourne in 2001.
Reinvention
We embrace our roots by returning to use the original Vanda logo representing our products and introducing an alternate unique colour scheme symbolising the Victoria business. Both represent the enduring quality Vanda products distributed by Vanda Victoria. We strive to continue to offer our customers proven premier window furnishing options along with introducing quality innovative products to support emerging trends.
